Shoutly: Megaphone Mic Speaker (com.theyourlist.shoutly) · Last updated 2 October 2026

This policy explains what information Shoutly ("the app", "we") handles. The short version: the microphone is processed live on your device and is never uploaded by us. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Ads and Google Play Billing, which process limited technical data as described below.

Microphone and audio

Shoutly needs the microphone permission to play your voice through the speaker, headphones or a Bluetooth device in real time. Audio is processed in memory on your phone and is not recorded, stored or transmitted. The only exception is when you choose "Record a message": that recording is saved in the app's private storage on your device so you can replay it, and is deleted when you delete it or uninstall the app.

Typed announcements

Text you type in Announce is converted to speech by your phone's text-to-speech engine (for example Google Speech Services) and saved as an audio file in the app's private storage if you tap Save. We never receive this text. Your text-to-speech provider handles it under its own policy.
